Blaming opposition for hunger is ‘delusion’, Atiku tells Tinubu Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of blaming the opposition for the country’s economic hardship. He said the President was trying to evade responsibility for his administration’s policies. Tinubu had earlier on Saturday blamed his political opponents for hunger and poverty in the country while speaking at the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna. “I hear my opponent talking about hunger, poverty. Who created it? They did! They created the hunger, they created the poverty. We are trying to eradicate it,” the President said. MAGU CONDEMNS THE MURDER OF EX-CDS,BEDEH,CONDOLES WITH FAMILY.#PRESS RELEASE.

    Ibrahim Magu, the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has expressed his condolence and shock over the death of former Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, which sad event occurred on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
"On behalf of the entire officers and men of the EFCC, I hereby offer our heartfelt condolences over the sudden and untimely death of the former CDS”, Magu said, in a letter of condolence, dated December 19, 2018 and addressed to the Chief of Defence Staff, General A. G. Olanisakin.
Magu condemned in the strongest term, the “crude and senseless manner of the attack leading to the death of the former CDS”, and called on the relevant security agencies "to ensure that the perpetrators of this dastardly act are apprehended and brought to book".While condoling with the family of the late CDS, Magu said, “We pray the Almighty God will give the Defence Headquarters, the Nigeria Air Force, Adamawa State and other stakeholders, the grace to bear the irreparable loss.".
