 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. MAGU CONDEMNS THE MURDER OF EX-CDS,BEDEH,CONDOLES WITH FAMILY.#PRESS RELEASE.

    Ibrahim Magu, the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has expressed his condolence and shock over the death of former Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, which sad event occurred on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
"On behalf of the entire officers and men of the EFCC, I hereby offer our heartfelt condolences over the sudden and untimely death of the former CDS”, Magu said, in a letter of condolence, dated December 19, 2018 and addressed to the Chief of Defence Staff, General A. G. Olanisakin.
Magu condemned in the strongest term, the “crude and senseless manner of the attack leading to the death of the former CDS”, and called on the relevant security agencies "to ensure that the perpetrators of this dastardly act are apprehended and brought to book".While condoling with the family of the late CDS, Magu said, “We pray the Almighty God will give the Defence Headquarters, the Nigeria Air Force, Adamawa State and other stakeholders, the grace to bear the irreparable loss.".
