  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. The wife of a traditional ruler is known as 'Oche Eze' which loosely translates to seat of the King, showing close affinity of the Kingship with the spouse, as the wives met on the agenda of improving government-rural women relationship, rural development targeting the women and empowerment of women.The wife of the traditional ruler of Awka, Oche Eze, Nora Namwinga Nwosu was present, the wife of Ezeuzu II of Awka, HRM Gibson Nwosu though from Monze Zambia, is a great emancipator of women and an embodiment of African and specifically Igbo culture, as a clown parading himself as traditional ruler wife could not be seen talk more of heard''.More photos below.
