NO PART OF THE CONSTITUTION SAYS AN IGBO MAN MUST GOVERN THE SOUTH EAST STATE-DR SAM UCHE,LAGOS STATE GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE.{PHOTOS}.#EXCLUSIVE.

Nollywood actor Mazi (Dr) Uche Sam Anyamele is set to take over from the ruling party,as the Governor of Lagos State. His contesting under the United Democratic Party {UDP}.I had the privilege to interview him, below are the conversation,so sit down relax and read.
Question: Good Morning Mazi Uche
Reply: Good Morning my sister.
Question: Almost everyone knows Sam Uche as an Actor, but now a politician, when did you switch from being an actor to a Politician and what made you to via into politics?
Reply: Thanks: I had always pushed to function as a Social Actor not only for entertainment.Right from my early school days I had been in one position of leadership or the other from class captain to head boy even as a commercial student of Isolo Grammar School. So politics for me is another level of leadership especially been driven by the people's State of welfare and well being.I have also been in the political space for some years now.
Question: Now there is this argument when your poster surfaced the internet, why the Governorship of Lagos, why not contest in your own state?
Reply: Now this is one of the narratives we must change...the 1999 constitution as amended refers to Nigerians as citizens and not indigenes hence,no part of the constitution says an Igbo man must govern the South Eastern States or otherwise. Thus, once you have lived for over 15-years in a given community you are part of the community.Once we get the above right then we will be practicing true federalism as projected.I was born in Isolo,Lagos State.
Question: Which state are you originally from?
Reply: Am from Ukwa East LGA,Abia State, and from our constitution I qualify to run otherwise INEC would have disqualified me and others too.
Question: Were you motivated by the 'Not Too Young to Run' bill?
Reply: Infact that's another anchor for my political drive now because we must get together as youth and make things happen Positively.
Question: Can you give me a brief break down on the first things you do for Lagosians if voted in as Governor of Lagos State?
Reply: I will review all existing policies and be objective about it's executions as it must be people driven by all means. We deal with waste problems in Lagos.Water in Lagos: Should be declared as a state of emergency in that sector.Ensure the carnals and trenches are thorough as the rains will be coming shorthly. Address the traffic situations by integrating the transportation network system.Review taxes, rates,et Al... to remove multiple taxation etc.
Question: Will you advocate for an independent electricity for Lagos?
Reply: Yes because Lagos has the capacity, however, the national grid is also functional once we have a sincere and people driven governance in place.
Question: There is a big challenge when it comes to employment especially in the Public Sector, what are your plans to employ people into the Lagos State Public Sectors?
Reply: Employment is key as much as qualifications as required for any position is Paramount.Merit will be a watchword in the employment scale of preference. However,we will encourage entrepreneurship by all means as the MSMEs are the bedrock of any stable economy. For Lagos to become the third largest economy we can't all work in the offices as we will be limiting the GDP and IGR of the commercial capital-state of Nigeria.
Question: Do you have anything to say to your fans?
Reply: Wow... what really can we do without our fans..some have even graduated from fans to friends and then to family. Thanks so much for your support and encouragement..keep praying for me and I will make you all proud.God Bless.
Question: Thank you for your time Mr Sam Uche
Reply: You are welcome.
