 Rema Becomes First African Artist on Rolling Stone Cover Nigerian music star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has made history as the first African artist to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. The American publication, renowned for its coverage of music, politics, and pop culture, announced Rema as the cover star for its April 2025 edition. Mavin Records celebrated the achievement on Instagram, calling him the “Afrobeats Visionary.” Following the announcement, Rema delivered an electrifying performance at the Rolling Stone concert, thrilling audiences with hits like Dumebi, Woman, and Calm Down. This milestone further solidifies Rema’s influence in global music, coming shortly after his feature on Dazed magazine. ALL PASSENGERS DIED TODAY AFTER A CAR LOST CONTROL FROM A TYRE BURST AND HIT A BUS ALONG ABEOKUTA-SAGAMU ROAD.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

        REPORT OF FATAL CRASH ON THE ABEOKUTA-SAGAMU ROAD ON SUNDAY 03 FEB

 2019  At about  1300Hrs,  along the , ABEOKUTA -SAGAMU road around  Shiun a  black KIA CERATO Car on high speed ,suffered a burst tyre and the driver was suspected to have applied break suddenly, which led to him loosing control of the speeding car that left it's lane ,climbing the road divider and raced to  the opposite direction where the car collided with a passenger bus, a grey coloured  TOYOTA SPORTS SPACE BUS , that was traveling from Abeokuta towards Sagamu. The unfortunate crash  killed all the occupants of the two illfated vehicles . The suspected   cause of the crash is  tyre burst and  speeding, . The details of the two  veh. lnvded are   LSR334FF=TOYOTA SPORTS SPACE VAN=, ASH and the second vehicle is  with  REG Number =KJA 806 BT, KIA CERATO, BLACK
The .people involved were -12(5Male adult,6Female Adult, CHILD 1)=no injred-Nil killed-12= Actions taken= dead victims were taken to OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL (OOUTH) MORTUARY. SAGAMU The wreckage of the  crashed vehicles have been cleared off  the road, and traffic restored .
The FRSC Ogun State Sector Commander Corps Commander Clement Oladele, while commissiorating with the famillies of the dead victims of the crash ,informed members of the public whose family members travelled within the period to contact the FRSC Command Abeokuta or Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital,Sagamu for identification of the victims .
The Sector Commander also advised motorists to ensure that their vehicles are in good condition, including driving with good tryres and avoid excessive speed

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
