 Over 25 million phones stolen in one year – FG The Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey report of the National Bureau of Statistics, a Federal Government agency, shows that Nigeria recorded 25.35 million phone theft cases between May 2023 and April 2024. According to the report, this was the most common type of crime within the period under review. The report read, “The number of crimes experienced by individuals in Nigeria was analysed over a period of time. The results show that theft of phones (25,354,417) was the most common crime experienced by individuals, followed by consumer fraud (12,107,210) and assault (8,453,258). However, hijacking of cars (333,349) was the least crime experienced by individuals within the reference period.” It also noted that most phone theft cases occurred either at home or in a public place, and about 90 per cent of such cases were reported to the police. BREAKDOWN OF PRINCE CHARLES VISIT TO CUBA AS HIS VISITS ENTERS DAY 3 TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

     Today The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall spent a third day in Cuba and this morning attended a British classic cars and motorbikes event in Havana. Their Royal Highnesses travelled to John Lennon Square in a classic 1953 MG TD and met Havana residents and British expats.
The Prince and The Duchess then visited Areito EGREM Recording Studios, the national record label of Cuba.
Later, The Prince toured an organic farm while The Duchess joined a discussion with the Federation of Cuban Women to hear about how Cuba is combatting domestic violence and providing protection and support for victims and families.
In the evening, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall watched a Cuban dance performance at the iconic Grand Theatre Alicia Alonso.

DAY 2.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall have spent a second day in Cuba, touring Old Havana and visiting communities around the city. 
Their Royal Highnesses viewed Old Havana on foot, accompanied by local historian Dr. Eusebio Leal. 
This year marks the 500th anniversary of the city of Havana. 
The Prince and The Duchess met Cubans throughout city, visiting Muraleando Community Centre, which offers local residents the opportunity to take part in different arts workshops.
Their Royal Highnesses watched performances at the Acosta Danza dance school, which was set up by dancer Carlos Acosta to give aspiring young dancers the opportunity to develop their talent. 
The Prince also visited a boxing gym and The Duchess met woman at a maternity centre. 

In the evening, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall joined the President of Cuba for an official welcome dinner at the Palacio de la Revolucion. 

DAY 1.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived in Havana today for the Royal visit to Cuba.
Their Royal Highnesses attended a wreath laying ceremony at the José Martí Memorial, which pays tribute to the essayist, poet and national hero of Cuba, before touring an exhibition about his life.
The Prince and The Duchess’s visit to Cuba this week will highlight cultural and academic connections, links between the people of the U.K. and Cuba, and explore key themes, such as the arts, youth entrepreneurship, heritage restoration and sustainable agriculture.
