  Tragedy Strikes As Promising Councillor Hon. Chukwuma Okpalauzuegbu Is Laid To Rest On Intended wedding Day  By Charity Ejiofor  A day that was meant to mark a joyful union has instead become one of deep sorrow for family, friends, and the Aguata community, following the sudden passing of Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short. GOV. AL-MAKURA ORDERS NSUK WATER TO BE SERVED AT ALL GOVERNMENT FUNCTIONS.{PHOTO}.

      The Visitor to Nasarawa State University, Keffi, His Excellency Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, has ordered that henceforth, NSUK Water should be served at all government functions and activities in the states.
Gov. Al-Makura gave the order when he received members of the University Governing Council and Management, who were in Lafia to congratulate him on the successes of the 2019 general elections in the state.
The Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Suleiman Bala Mohammed, who represented the Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. Adamu Baikie, during his speech presented the rebranded NSUK Water to the Visitor, informing him that the bottle water is ranked among the best in the country.
The governor expressed delight in the fact that the University is progressing in the right direction, noting especially the successes recorded by the Prof. Suleiman's led management.
He said the table water venture will afford the University of alternative source of revenue, different from the statutory sources.
Gov. Al-Makura instantly instructed the Secretary to the State Government, to ensure that NSUK bottle water is served at all government functions in the state.
