 ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND NOTES IMPROVED SECURITY STABILITY IN IHIALA AS OPERATIVES ARREST FOUR SUSPECTS THREATENING KIDNAPPING/ABDUCTION AND VIOLENCE IN THE AREA _as such action has serious implications in jeopardising the security of the State._ Anambra State Police Command notes the improved Security stability in Ihiala and appreciates the good people of Ihiala for their cooperation and resilience in identifying the bad elements in the area.  This is following a painstaking investigation by the Joint Security Force in Ihiala acting on information received over time of faceless individuals/Criminals threatening kidnapping/Abduction, violence and cyberstalking to innocent individuals in the State, especially in Ihiala.      PDP Insists Abba Yusuf Won Kano Governorship Election...Says INEC’s Manipulation Is A Recipe for Crisis
     The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says its candidate, Abba K. Yusuf, is the rightful winner of the Kano state governorship election, saying any declaration that does not reflect such cannot stand.
The whole world knows that the PDP and its candidate, Abba Yusuf, won the Kano state governorship election since March 9, 2019, having fulfilled the constitutional requirement of securing the highest number of votes and the statutory 25% in two-third of the state.
The so-called governorship supplementary election in Kano is a national disgrace and a mere figure allocating exercise by compromised INEC officials, who collaborated with power drunk politicians in the All Progressives Congress (APC) to award results to the APC candidate.
The party therefore cautions INEC against any attempt to import contrived figures from the illegitimate March 23 charade as such will be a clear recipe for anarchy and serious crisis in the state.
The people of Kano state have a long history of firm resistance against corrupt and oppressive forces. Their will must therefore not be stretched in this election.
The Kano people have abundantly expressed their rejection of the corrupt and incompetent government of Abdullahi Ganduje and his party, the APC, and no amount of machination can cow or force them to abandon their resolve for a new governor in Abba Yusuf.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
