 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MINISTER OF STATE FOR PETROLEUM RESOURCES (GAS) AS CO-CHAIRMAN OF NCDMB GOVERNING COUNCIL In line with his avowed commitment to establish a more efficient, targeted, and consistent approval process for unique oil and gas projects in the country, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), as the Co-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). This is also to further ensure effective oversight of the gas aspect of the nation's assets. The President remains committed to unlocking Nigeria's immense gas potential to stimulate industrial development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth. NIGERIAN MAN AND HIS FIANCEE DIED YESTERDAY IN A MOTOR ACCIDENT,FEW WEEKS TO THEIR WEDDING.{PHOTOS}.#RIP.

      In what will come across as a really shocking development, a man and his fiancee have died weeks to their wedding.
A couple has sadly passed away in a tragic incident few weeks to their traditional wedding in Akwa Ibom state.
The pair identified as Ukeme Asuquo and Ema Udo Essien, were involved in a ghastly motor accident yesterday which reportedly killed both of them on the spot.
Their wedding which was billed to hold on Saturday, May 4th in Itu local government area of Akwa Ibom, has been cancelled due to the unfortunate incident.
A friend of the deceased took to Facebook to mourn their deaths.
He wrote: "Man, fiancée die days to their wedding! Oh death where is thy sting!
"Ukeme Asuquo you brought your wedding card to us last Sunday. Just this morning I heard you had an accident with your husband and both are confirmed dead at the spot.
"What will happen on the 4th May being your traditional marriage? It’s so heartbreaking please.".More photos below.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
