 IGP DISU ATTENDS PUBLIC LECTURE HELD IN HONOR OF LATE IGP SOLOMON ARASE The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 31st August 2026, participated in the public lecture organised to mark the one-year remembrance of the late Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon E. Arase (Rtd), PhD, CFR, NPM, FCIArb, fdc, who passed away on August 31, 2025. The lecture, themed 'Policing, Good Governance, and National Development: The Strategic Role of Police Veterans in Building a Secure Nigeria,' featured guest speakers drawn from retired officers of the Nigeria Police Force and close associates of the late IGP Arase (Rtd), including Professor Etannibi Alemika. The event was attended by former Inspectors-General of Police, IGP Sunday Ehindero (Rtd) and IGP Mohammed Abubakar (Rtd), alongside other notable dignitaries, including the representative of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State; AIG Yemi Ogunyemilusi (Rtd); the chairman, Board of Trustees, Police Veteran...

  The 2019 MET Gala is set to hold next month the 6th of May and the theme for the fashion event is ''CAMP- NOTES ON FASHION''.I can tell you for free a-lot of guest for this event will wear boots and ladies will wear boots with gown .Then the men,a lot of them will wear hats to give it that camp look,some women too might wear crazy classic hats and capes too like Red-Ridinghood. I will not be surprise if someone wears newspaper print either inform of a gown or suit.Designers this year need to be very creative.From my findings the theme was inspired by Susan Sontag 1964 essay that defines camp as ''love of the un-natural: of artifice and exaggeration''.More photos below that might have been worn by celebrities that is meant for this theme.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
