 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.      Zainab Aliyu, a Nigerian student who was detained in Saudi Arabia for alleged drug trafficking, arrived in Nigeria yesterday Monday after four months in detention.
Zainab Aliyu, a 22-year-old student of the Maitama Sule University in Kano, had travelled to Saudi Arabia for lesser hajj alongside her mother and sister.
she was arrested at the Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina, Saudi Arabia in December 2018 because tramadol was found in a travelling bag that had her name tag , a banned drug in Saudi Arabia..She, however, arrived in Nigeria through the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano on Monday in the company of Ibrahim Abubakar, another Nigerian accused of the same crime.
She was released to the Nigerian mission in Saudi Arabia after the federal government made efforts to investigate and establish her innocence.More photos below.
