 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. A WOMAN ARRESTED YESTERDAY AFTER SHE STABBED HER HUSBAND TO DEATH IN ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTOS}.

     Yesterday, Saturday, 29/6/2019 at about 8:am, Police detectives attached to 33 Police Station Onitsha arrested one Makoduchukwu Ndubisi 'f' aged 20 years of NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe in Anambra East LGA of Anambra State.
Suspect allegedly had a scuffle with her husband one John Bosco Ngu 'm' aged 35 years of the same address and stabbed him on his chest with a sharp knife.
The scene was visited by Police detectives and victim taken to Boromeo hospital Onitsha for medical attention but was certified dead on arrival by the Medical Doctor.
The corpse was deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy. Exhibit recovered and case is under investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident.One more photo below.
