 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.     According to sources, At 10:22pm last night, 9 out of the 24 Members-Elect of the Edo State House of Assembly, elected a new Speaker and Deputy Speaker for the 7th Assembly.
The cold war between Gov. Obaseki and his Predecessor, Oshiomole is quite turning into an interesting drama.
Obaseki in a move to strengthen his grip in the state party structure and government, discussed with his Deputy Philip Shaibu, and whisked away the 9 members-elect, the Clerk of the House of Assembly, among other officials to stage a secret inauguration.More photos below.
