  Group Partners Anambra Government On Aquaculture Development, Training Of Fish Farmers By Chukwuka Ugokwe  The Anambra State Government is to collaborate with a  Non Governmental Organisation, Solidaridad, to train fish farmers and develop aquaculture sector activities in line with revolutionazing the state's agriculture economy. Solidaridad West Africa, is an international non profit and solution oriented organisation that works with relevant actors in the agricultural and non agricultural sectors promoting sustainable and inclusive commodity value chains across the globe. Rising from an engagement meeting with the State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr Forster Ihejiofor, in his office, they noted that the collaboration would go a long way in stimulating the production of fishery and aquaculture in the state.    According to the magazine '' On the sofa in front of me, with a cup of tea in her hands, Kareena Kapoor Khan is looking absolutely at ease. Nothing unusual about that, you may think, but picture this—Kapoor Khan is wearing a blinding neon green dress from Christian Cowan, with perfectly placed cut-outs (that show off her Pilates-toned midriff), a plunging neckline and seriously fierce Aquazzura heels. She’s also in full hair and makeup. A far departure from her jeans and vintage-inspired sweatshirt, (another of her well documented #AirportLooks) on her way to this very shoot in London’s East End. The common thread—Kapoor Khan’s insouciant slant towards style, stardom and pretty much everything else. She’s made strong statements without so much as batting an eyelid—no strategy needed behind her walking down the ramp sporting a nearly seven-month baby bump or her decision to dress comfortably for transatlantic flights, making way for athleisure airport style in the country.
When it comes to defining her style it’s this very dichotomy between casual and couture that makes her interesting. Like with her opinions, Kapoor Khan is not one to sit on the fence, sartorial or otherwise. Though she does admit, as she settles into the couch, that this look is uncharted territory, even for her. “It’s quite over the top. I think people are used to seeing me in something more understated.” On most occasions for Bebo (as she’s popularly known), it’s either denim 24/7 (“I have about 40 pairs of jeans, and another 40 that I’m hoping to fit back into,” she says with a self-deprecating laugh of her collection of Rag & Bone and J Brand) or full-on, high-voltage, silver-screen glamour (think that cobalt blue glitzy gown for New Year’s Eve in Gstaad or that molten metallic number at the Mowgli premiere).
Open a magazine or scroll through Instagram and you’ll certainly see that Kapoor Khan is having a great time—living life large with her fashion-forward girl gang (Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Malaika Arora) or on the arm of her sharply dressed husband, actor Saif Ali Khan. But when asked who she dresses for—her girlfriends, her husband or the ever-present paparazzi—the answer, without a hint of hesitation, is herself. “If I didn’t dress for myself you wouldn’t see me in jeans and a T-shirt because everyone tells me it looks so ’80s, but I don’t think so. Nothing goes out of fashion; I don’t follow trends.” On the subject of her fashion posse, if she could raid one of her friend’s wardrobes, who would it be? “I think everyone wants to raid mine.” She’s joking but it’s probably not far from the truth. “Okay, I’d probably raid my sister’s wardrobe. Karisma has amazing tastebut I’m a size up, so there’s no chance of that.”.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
