In a blog post that has now been published by many international media organisations, in an apparent well-coordinated public relations effort, Binance Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng made false allegations of bribery against unidentified Nigerian government officials who he claimed demanded $150m in cryptocurrency payments to resolve the ongoing criminal investigation against the company.  This claim by Binance CEO lacks any iota of substance.      At the just concluded 2019 African Cup of Nations, Nigerian billionaires, Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola together pledged $75,000 for every goal scored by the Super Eagles in the knockout stage of the tournament.
He shared the photo below and wrote, 'Integrity is keeping your word. I redeemed my pledge of $25000 per goal to representatives of the Super Eagles (L-R) Chidi Ngoka (Equipment Manager), Enebi Achor (Team Manager) and Defender Kenneth Omeruo today in my office'.
