The ​President celebrates the athletes for demonstrating the resilience, determination, discipline, and excellence that define the Nigerian spirit. POLICE DETAINED SEN. ELISHA ABBO YESTERDAY OVER ASSAULT ON A WOMAN IN A SEX TOY SHOP IN ABUJA.{PHOTO}.

    The FCT Police Command has detained Senator Elisha Abbo over allegedly assaulted a nursing mother at an adult toy shop in Abuja.
In a telephone interview, the FCT Police Commissioner, Mr Bala Ciroma confirmed to Channels Television that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmaker representing Adamawa north senatorial district is being detained to enable detectives complete investigation on the alleged assault.But according to another source,the Senator actually surrendered himself to the police yesterday.
