 RE: MISLEADING CLAIMS REGARDING EXTORTION OF MOTORISTS BY LAGOS STATE TASKFORCE – YET-TO-BE-IDENTIFIED SECURITY OPERATIVES: ANOTHER CASE OF MISTAKEN IDENTITY The Lagos State Taskforce wishes to address a misleading narrative circulating on social media, particularly in a viral video shared by protesters and concerned groups who recently demonstrated at the Lagos State House of Assembly. The protest was in response to the alleged extortion of motorists by security operatives, yet to be identified, who are not officials of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit. We categorically state that the Lagos State Taskforce had no involvement in the said incident. Our enforcement teams are led by seasoned, well-trained, and highly disciplined senior officers who are far too professional and educated to jeopardise their ranks, integrity, and years of service for personal gain. The mother of the children identified as Happiness Uyoriata Ewah took to her social media few hours ago to share different pictures with the caption ''Pls somebody should wake me up from dis dream ooooo 😭😭i can't believe dat my shiloh died on my hands God who we be my up cuming fashion designer who we be my professor who we model my kids dress 😫😫😫😫😫😫😭😭😭😭O God why me RIP OOOOO my lovely children''.''I can't believe u died in my hand i still not believe ur death 😭😭😭my own bby died in on my legs who so every has poison to God wouldn't forgive them i still can't type rip just now but with tears in my

 Their mom left the kids in the care of her neighbor a single lady just to go and refill gas and before she came back the kids were poisoned with carrot. The lady absconded. One thing is sure, She can't run from God.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
