  PRESS RELEASE NATIONAL POLICE DAY: NPF SETS TO HOST MAIDEN EDITION  APRIL 7 Weeklong Activities to Culminate in Grand Parade at Eagle Square. The Nigeria Police Force is set to host the maiden edition of National Police Day on April 7, 2025, at Eagle Square, Abuja. This historic event, which will run from April 2 to April 7, 2025, will feature a series of impactful humanitarian and community-based activities, including medical outreaches, community engagements, exhibitions by security companies and partners, among other programs aimed at fostering stronger police-community relations. INDIA HOSPITAL CONCEDES TO EL-ZAKZAKY'S DEMAND,ALLOW APPOINTED DOCTORS TO TREAT HIM.{PHOTOS}.

      The management of the Indian hospital had agreed to commence treatment of the IMN leader with doctors he had initially booked an appointment with.
The management of Medanta Hospital in New Delhi, India, has yielded to the demands of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, by allowing the doctors he initially had an appointment with to attend to his failing health.
It was reported earlier that El-Zakzaky could soon return to Nigeria after being given a two-hour ultimatum by the Indian Government to leave the country for refusing to be treated by unknown doctors at the hospital on Wednesday.
A top member of the Islamic Human Right Commission in London, who spoke with Sahara Reporters, disclosed that the management of the Indian hospital had agreed to commence treatment of the IMN leader with doctors he had initially booked an appointment with.-SAHARA REPORTERS

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
