 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.     Mrs. Kikelomo Morenikeji Sanyaolu, the newly appointed Permanent Secretary for the Lagos State Civil Service Commission, has solicited for the support and maximum cooperation of all staff through diligence and effective service delivery.
Speaking at a brief welcome/handing over ceremony recently in Alausa, Mrs. Sanyaolu expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome by members of staff and promised to do her best to ensure that the Commission effectively carries out its statutory responsibilities.
Earlier at the event, the former Permanent Secretary Mr. Adeyemi Fashola, now been posted to the Parastatal Monitoring Office, enjoins all staff to accord the new Permanent Secretary the cooperation extended to him which birthed a lot of innovations in service delivery at the Commission.
While thanking the entire staff for the love and support extended to him while in office, Fashola asserted that he is leaving as a fulfilled man because the excellence he promoted among staff has become a tradition in the Commission.
The Chairman Civil Service Commission, Mrs. Adeyinka Taiwo Oyemade in her own remarks pledged the staff allegiance and commitment and described the new Permanent secretary as a seasoned administrator who is bound to succeed and take the Civil Service Commission to loftier heights.One more photo below.
