 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. ONE DEAD,MANY INJURED AS DANGOTE CEMENT TRUCK COLLIDES WITH A BRT BUS IN LAGOS TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

     A tragic accident which occurred in Ikorodu area of Lagos State, left a BRT bus passenger dead and many others injured.
The sad incident occurred on Tuesday morning, after a cement truck belonging to Dangote company veered off its lane and collided with a 60-seater high capacity Bus Rapid Transit BRT.
Confirming the accident which led to a traffic gridlock as the road was cordoned off on both sides for easy rescue and evacuation operation, the General Manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, LASEMA, Dr Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, said the injured victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.More photos below.
