 MOTHER, 14-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER DIE IN ANAMBRA BUILDING COLLAPSE By Chinyere Nwoye  A three-storey building under construction has collapsed at Okpoko in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State, killing a woman and her 14-year-old daughter. The incident occurred on Thursday morning, October 8, at No. 11 Emeka Ugwuanyi Street, by Anabanaba, Okpoko, amid heavy rainfall. The collapsed structure reportedly fell on a boys’ quarters located close to the building, trapping occupants who were inside at the time of the incident. The victims were identified as Mrs Happiness Ugoagu and her 14-year-old daughter, Miss Confidence, both indigenes of Uga in Aguata Local Government Area.  They were reportedly asleep when the building collapsed on the boys’ quarters. Following the incident, residents, sympathisers and emergency responders immediately mobilised to the scene in an effort to rescue the trapped persons and clear the debris.       President Muhammadu Buhari sends condolences to the Catholic Church over the killing of Rev. Fr. Paul Offu, the Priest of St. James Greater Parish Catholic Church, Ugbawka, Enugu State.
President Buhari expresses deep shock and dismay over the killing of another priest, ordering a thorough manhunt for the killers and their immediate prosecution.
The President commiserates with government and people of Enugu State, family of Rev Fr. Offu and members of the parish and all Christians.
Describing the killing of the priest as “barbaric and unwarranted’’, President Buhari assures the Catholic Church and all Nigerians that the fight against “lawlessness and recklessness’’ will be intensified as security of lives and property continues to top his priorities.
“The entire nation is shaken by the horrible assassination of this priest. The administration will continue to guarantee the freedom of religion and protect places of worship as well as the lives of citizens wherever they live,” he added.
Directing law enforcement agencies to act swiftly in their investigations and bring the perpetrators of the “horrific crime’’ to book, the President calls on all religious leaders to pray for peace, healing and security of the country.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
