 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. ANAMBRA STATE BEGINS REGISTRATION OF HERDSMEN.{PHOTO}.

   The Anambra State Government has commenced the registration of Fulani herdsmen, aimed at checking the farmers-herdsmen conflict in the state.
Speaking to newsmen on the commencement of the registration, Chairman of Anambra State Cattle Menace Control Committee, Igwe Peter Eze-Amama said the registration point was at Amansea in Awka North council area.
Eze-Amama said the enumeration process will help in an easy identification whenever there is a crisis.
He said,
“The enumeration will assist the cattle menace control committee to fish out the bad eggs from the Fulani herdsmen in Anambra state.”
Alhaji Gidado Siddiki, South-East chairman of Miyetti Allah hailed the initiative and also urged herdsmen to respect their host communities as erring individuals will be punished accordingly.
