 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms. EFCC ARRESTS SUSPECTED YAHOO BOYS.[PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     In its war against internet fraud, officers of the Cyber Crime Section at the Abuja Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, September 9, 2019 raided the residences of suspected yahoo-yahoo fraudsters at House 16 Yashin Dogara News Engineering, Dawaki, Abuja.
In the same vein, arrests were carried out on the 13th of September at Nepa Road, Phase 4, Kubwa and at No 18 Samuel Crescent, Dantata Estate Kubwa, Abuja.
The raid followed covert intelligence gathering and tip offs from already arrested suspects.
The suspects arrested are Iloh Joseph and Emeka Jonathan.
In the course of the operation, some of the items recovered include mobile phones, laptop computers, and a Toyota corolla.
The suspects are cooperating with the Commission. They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.More photos below.
