 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results.    On the 22nd of September at the African Beauty Summit Award,Oriental Hotels Victorial Island Lagos,Pink Republic blog won the award ''Beauty Blogger of The Year 2019''.I was not expecting to win because of other big time bloggers that was on the list of nominees with me but to God I give all the glory,my blog was declared the winner.Nigerian Musician Joel Amadi and Nollywood diva Linda Osifo received an award. The award was not limited to Nigerians only but other African countries were nominated,some that can't make it sent in their video of thanks because of distance.Coco Ice from Big Brother was looking very beautiful in her sugar-candy dress.More photos below.
