 Aguiyi Orders Investigation into Trans Nkisi Mining Site Over Environmental Compliance By Amaka Isikala The Anambra State Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Clem Aguiyi, has ordered an investigation into the environmental compliance status of a mining site at Trans Nkisi, Onitsha, following concerns over extensive land degradation and its possible contribution to the growing gully erosion threatening the community. The directive followed an inspection visit to the site on August 1, during which the commissioner was accompanied by leaders of the Trans Nkisi community. The visit formed part of the ministry's ongoing assessment of environmentally sensitive locations across the state in line with Governor Chukwuma Soludo's Fifth Pillar of Development, Environment and Urban Regeneration.    On the 22nd of September at the African Beauty Summit Award,Oriental Hotels Victorial Island Lagos,Pink Republic blog won the award ''Beauty Blogger of The Year 2019''.I was not expecting to win because of other big time bloggers that was on the list of nominees with me but to God I give all the glory,my blog was declared the winner.Nigerian Musician Joel Amadi and Nollywood diva Linda Osifo received an award. The award was not limited to Nigerians only but other African countries were nominated,some that can't make it sent in their video of thanks because of distance.Coco Ice from Big Brother was looking very beautiful in her sugar-candy dress.More photos below.
