 Nkwoka Warns Against Touting, Cash Collection of Tolls,halts Parks activities under Nkpor New parts Market Flyover  By Uzo Ugwunze  The Idemili North Chairman, Hon. Stanley Nkwoka has halted activities of the motor parks operating under the Nkpor  New Parts Market Flyover along Enugu-Onitsha expressway warning both touts and motorist to avoid the place till further notice. Addressing newsmen in a press conference held at the  Idemili North LGA Secretariat Ogidi, the Executive Chairman said that the aim of sealing the park was to put things right and to avoid bloodshed between the Amafor youths and Business link who renovated the park under Public Private Partnership (PPP). According to Nkwoka, I want to assure the public that I am not after taking anybody's land but I am here to put things right.       In the past few days, a spate of reckless and malicious falsehoods have been peddled in the media against me by a group of malicious individuals.
The defamatory and misleading assertions invented by this clique have been making the social media rounds anonymously.
I have today instructed the commencement of legal action against two individuals, one Timi Frank and another Katch Ononuju, who have put their names to these odious falsehoods.
I will waive my constitutional immunity to enable the most robust adjudication of these claims of libel and malicious falsehood.- Yemi Osinbajo.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
