  PRESS RELEASE NIGERIA WELCOMES HER ROYAL HIGHNESS VICTORIA, CROWN PRINCESS OF SWEDEN, ON OFFICIAL VISIT  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to announce the upcoming official visit of Her Royal Highness Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, to Nigeria scheduled for Monday, 7th to Wednesday 9th April 2025.  The visiting royalty will be received by high-ranking Nigerian officials and also engage in a series of high-level discussions aimed at further strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between both nations. Crown Princess Victoria will be received in audience by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar on Monday 7th April 2025.  She is also to meet with His Excellency, Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON; the Governor of Lagos State and commission the Swedish Trade office in Lagos. NIGERIAN RAPPER OLANREWAJU PELEPELE COMMITTED SUICIDE YESTERDAY.{GRAPHIC PHOTOS}.

     About 10 days ago, this young Nigerian rapper and singer, Olanrewaju Pelepele shared an emotional video online talking about how depressed he was and his plans to take his own life.
At the time, he wasn't taken serious and now, he has made good on his promise and has taken his life.
He was found stone cold dead in his apartment on Friday, September 20th 2019. His death stems from his long battle with depression and his inability to fully break into the Nigerian music industry despite 10years of hard work.One more photo below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
