Governor Samuel Ortom has charged Christians to always pray for their leaders for the desired wisdom to lead them to the right direction and to be able to address the challenges confronting their people.
The Governor who gave the charge today at the Glory of His Majesty's Ministries off Naka Road, Makurdi said the challenge of leadership could only be surmounted through prayers and support from the led.
He challenged people of the state to serve God faithfully and always call on Him through prayers, pointing out that prayers were also needed for peace to return to the warring Tiv and Jukun communities in Taraba State.
Governor Ortom said his obedience to God in the face of numerous life challenges had paid off, stressing that since he gave his life to Christ, there is nothing he had desired and never gotten.
He stated that the Glory of His Majesty Ministries had done a lot of exploits by winning many souls to Christ, saying the General Overseer, Pastor Michael Ewache deserves praises.
Benue State Head of Service, Mrs. Veronica Onyeke said she has always been proud of the Governor because of his love for God and prayed God to continue to uphold him and prosper all his ways.
The General Overseer, Pastor Ewache, who preached on the theme: "Reversal Order," acknowledged the supremacy of God's power over every other power, noting that it is capable of reversing the courses placed on humans by the devil.
He called on people of the state to join hands with the Governor to salvage the state.More photos below.
