 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. TINUBU SUPPORT GROUP MOVES TO EKITI.{PHOTOS}.

     A political movement has joined the growing list of other groups drumming support for the presidency to return to the South West in 2023.

This comes by the sideline of various support groups endorsing the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the right and best candidate to occupy the seat in Aso Rock after the current dispensation.

The National Coordinator of Tinubu Non Negotiable, TNN, Honourable Mutiu Okunola while taking the train to Ekiti State said there is need to create awareness among the progressives across the nooks and corners of the entire country.

Okunola while inaugurating the Ekiti State chapel of what he termed the unstoppable moving train explained that the group is doing it out of its conviction without the consent of the former.

He said whether the APC national leader is interested or not, the group will continue to mobilise support for him based on ideology and his contribution to the growth of democracy in Nigeria and Africa in general.More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
