 UNACCEPTABLE – GOV. ALIA BLASTS MBALOM KILLINGS, ASSURES JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS  Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has condemned the latest attack on Mbalom community in Gwer East Local Government Area, describing it as barbaric and unacceptable, while assuring residents of intensified efforts to protect lives and property. In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, the governor reacted to reports of an assault by suspected armed herdsmen on the community, an incident that adds to recurring security concerns in parts of the state. Alia said the attack represents a direct threat to the peace and security of Benue, noting a disturbing pattern of what he described as calculated and selective assaults. He expressed sympathy to affected families and reiterated his administration’s resolve to confront criminal elements. TINUBU SUPPORT GROUP MOVES TO EKITI.{PHOTOS}.

     A political movement has joined the growing list of other groups drumming support for the presidency to return to the South West in 2023.

This comes by the sideline of various support groups endorsing the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the right and best candidate to occupy the seat in Aso Rock after the current dispensation.

The National Coordinator of Tinubu Non Negotiable, TNN, Honourable Mutiu Okunola while taking the train to Ekiti State said there is need to create awareness among the progressives across the nooks and corners of the entire country.

Okunola while inaugurating the Ekiti State chapel of what he termed the unstoppable moving train explained that the group is doing it out of its conviction without the consent of the former.

He said whether the APC national leader is interested or not, the group will continue to mobilise support for him based on ideology and his contribution to the growth of democracy in Nigeria and Africa in general.More photos below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
