 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. WOMAN STABBED HER HUSBAND TO DEATH FOR REFUSING TO RELEASE MONEY FOR THEIR DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY PARTY IN LAGOS.{PHOTO}.

      The Lagos state police command has arrested 23-year-old Stella Peters for stabbing her husband, Haruna Bala, to death today Tuesday September 17th.
A statement released by the spokesperson of the police command, Bala Elkana, says the couple who were not legally married, lived together at No 2 Tejuosho Avenue, Surulere lagos, for three years and have a Baby who just turned one.
An argument ensued between them which turned violent and the woman used a kitchen knife to stab the man in the back which led to his death.
Bala says the woman accused the man of refusing to release money for their daughter's birthday party.
Homicide detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba have taken over the investigation.
The suspect confessed to the commission of the Crime.
She will be charged to Court for murder.
