 Chawai Community Appeals To Gov. Uba Sani For Relief, Medical Support After Deadly Kauru Attack The people of Chawai Chiefdom in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have appealed to Governor Uba Sani to provide urgent relief and medical assistance to victims of the deadly attack on Naridon village in Kamaru Ward. In an open letter addressed to the governor, the community commended his leadership, describing his administration as inclusive and fair. They said this had given residents confidence that every community in the state is valued. The community, however, expressed concern over what it described as the lack of government intervention following the attack on Naridon village, in which it said 30 people were killed. According to the letter, many survivors and families of the victims are still struggling with grief, trauma, displacement, and the challenges of caring for those injured in the attack. 39YEAR OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING A MONTH OLD BABY ON SATURDAY IN MOWE,OGUN STATE.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     Police in ogun state on 5th of October 2019 apprehended a 39 year old man Olakunle Agbaje for stealing a two month old baby at no 32 odukoya street Adesan in mowe area of obafemi owode local government.
The arrest of the suspect followed a distress call received by the police in mowe division headquarters that a woman Marufu Taiwo was sleeping in her room at Adesan area of mowe when the suspect who resides at no 13 Dennis street Arigbawonwo sneaked into her room and took the baby boy from her side. While the suspect was tiptoeing out of the room, the mother of the child woke up and raised alarm consequent upon which distress call was made to the police. On receiving the information,  the DPO Mowe division SP Marvis Jayeola quickly moved to the scene with his men where the suspect was promptly arrested.
On interrogation, the suspect who first claimed that he strayed into the woman's room unknowingly later started begging for mercy with the plea that he didn't know what pushed him to do what he did.
Meanwhile, the commissioner of police cp Bashir makama has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation.
