 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. 39YEAR OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING A MONTH OLD BABY ON SATURDAY IN MOWE,OGUN STATE.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     Police in ogun state on 5th of October 2019 apprehended a 39 year old man Olakunle Agbaje for stealing a two month old baby at no 32 odukoya street Adesan in mowe area of obafemi owode local government.
The arrest of the suspect followed a distress call received by the police in mowe division headquarters that a woman Marufu Taiwo was sleeping in her room at Adesan area of mowe when the suspect who resides at no 13 Dennis street Arigbawonwo sneaked into her room and took the baby boy from her side. While the suspect was tiptoeing out of the room, the mother of the child woke up and raised alarm consequent upon which distress call was made to the police. On receiving the information,  the DPO Mowe division SP Marvis Jayeola quickly moved to the scene with his men where the suspect was promptly arrested.
On interrogation, the suspect who first claimed that he strayed into the woman's room unknowingly later started begging for mercy with the plea that he didn't know what pushed him to do what he did.
Meanwhile, the commissioner of police cp Bashir makama has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
