A video showing one Miss Opemiposi Precious BOLAJI, an 18 year old 100L Mass Communication student beating her colleague identified as Miss Gloria AJAYI, a 100L Mass Communication student, in a private hostel outside the University campus has gone viral. In accordance with our institution's policies and extant regulations, the students who were captured in the viral video, appeared  before the Students' Disciplinary Committee at its emergency meeting held on Monday, May 6, 2024 for interrogations and appropriate recommendations, the report of which has been submitted to the University authorities. 39YEAR OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING A MONTH OLD BABY ON SATURDAY IN MOWE,OGUN STATE.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     Police in ogun state on 5th of October 2019 apprehended a 39 year old man Olakunle Agbaje for stealing a two month old baby at no 32 odukoya street Adesan in mowe area of obafemi owode local government.
The arrest of the suspect followed a distress call received by the police in mowe division headquarters that a woman Marufu Taiwo was sleeping in her room at Adesan area of mowe when the suspect who resides at no 13 Dennis street Arigbawonwo sneaked into her room and took the baby boy from her side. While the suspect was tiptoeing out of the room, the mother of the child woke up and raised alarm consequent upon which distress call was made to the police. On receiving the information,  the DPO Mowe division SP Marvis Jayeola quickly moved to the scene with his men where the suspect was promptly arrested.
On interrogation, the suspect who first claimed that he strayed into the woman's room unknowingly later started begging for mercy with the plea that he didn't know what pushed him to do what he did.
Meanwhile, the commissioner of police cp Bashir makama has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
