 Kaduna Court Jails Fake Australian for Fraud  Justice Jaafaru Zubairu of the Kaduna State High Court has convicted and sentenced one Faruk Suleiman Ololade (a.k.a Caesar Smith) to three years imprisonment  for fraud.  He was prosecuted by the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on a one-count charge bordering on impersonation.   The charge reads: “That you, Faruk Suleiman Ololade (a.k.a Mr Caesar Smith) on or about the 12th of February, 2026 in Kaduna within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, impersonated one Mr Caesar Smith (an Australian) via Facebook platform and in such assumed character, attempted to defraud members of the public and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 142 (1) of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law, 2017 and punishable under the same law.”  He pleaded guilty to the charge, upon which the prosecution counsel, Moses Arumemi prayed the court to convict and sentence him ...

EFCC ARRESTS NINE FOR CYBER FRAUD TODAY AT ENUGU STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    The EFCC, Enugu Zonal Office on Friday October 18, 2019 arrested nine suspected cyber crime fraudsters at Mexmemphis Properties and Apartments, Maryland District, Enugu. The suspects, Precious Ibegbulem, Michael Odishi,Ebuka Kenneth, Akabuke Beluolisa, Chibueze Ezeagwu, Nnamdi Maduekwe, Kingsley Orazulike, Linda Chidera and Uche Nwosu were arrested following an intelligence report about their lifestyle and suspected criminal activities. On the strength of the information, the EFCC raided the home of the suspects and arrested them.More photos below.

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
