 FG MOVES TO CUT EDUCATION COSTS, PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY WITH REUSABLE TEXTBOOK POLICY The Federal Government of Nigeria has unveiled a comprehensive policy framework aimed at reducing the cost of education for parents, improving learning outcomes, and promoting sustainability in schools through the adoption of reusable, high-quality textbooks and strengthened quality assurance mechanisms. The policy, jointly issued by the Honourable Minister of Education  Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa and the Honourable Minister of State for Education Prof Suiwaba Sai'd, forms part of ongoing reforms to reposition Nigeria’s education sector and ease the financial burden on families. GOV. SANWO-OLU APPOINTS NEW CHAIRMAN FOR LAGOS SPORTS COMMISSION TODAY.#PRESS RELEASE.

         Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Mr. Olusola Aiyepeku as the new Executive Chairman, Lagos State Sports Commission Governing Board (LSSC).
Aiyepeku replaces Dr. Kweku Tandoh, who had been at the helm of affairs of the Lagos State Sports Commission since the year 2017.
A letter signed by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola stated that the appointment, which is a four-year tenure, took effect from 28th October 2019, noting that Aiyepeku has a track record as a sports enthusiast and administrator.
Prior to the present appointment, Mr. Aiyepeku was the CEO of SNT SelSports.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
