 U.S Finalizes $20,000 Visa Bond Policy Affecting Nigeria and 49 Other Nations The United States government has officially formalized its visa bond policy, making it a permanent measure that could require travelers from 50 designated countries, including Nigeria, to pay a refundable bond of up to $20,000 before receiving certain visas. First introduced as a pilot scheme in 2025, the policy targets applicants seeking B1 and B2 visas, which are designated for business and tourism. According to the U.S. Department of State, the initiative is designed to bolster compliance with local immigration laws and drastically reduce visa overstay rates. ARREST OF CHILD STEALING SYNDICATE AND RESCUE OF THREE CHILDREN SUSPECTED TO HAVE BEEN STOLEN IN ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE

    On the 22/11/2019 at about 1:30pm,following intelligence report Police detectives attached to Ogidi Division arrested two female suspects at Nkpor in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State.They were arrested with three kids,(two boys and a girl )whose age ranges between 1 and 5 years respectively.
2. Suspects were negotiating on how to sell the Children alleged to have been stolen/trafficked from Enugu-Otu village in Anambra East LGA of Anambra State.
3. Case is under investigation after which suspects would be charged to court for prosecution.
4. Consequently, the Commissioner of Police CP John B.Abang,fdc urges Parents whose children got missing and fall within the above age bracket to report at the PPRO office State Command headquarters Awka for proper identification and collect their children, please.
