 TROOPS STALL TERRORISTS'  MISSION TO ATTACK COMMUNITY, NAB SUSPECTED GUN RUNNERS IN ADAMAWA, SEIZE ARMS Troops of the Nigerian Army deployed for Counter terrorism operations in North East Nigeria, in conjunction with Civilian Joint Task Force, have successfully intercepted a group of terrorists on transit to unleash attack in Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State.  The troops on fighting patrol near Wuro Jabbe encountered the terrorists who were on a mission to attack the community. Troops engaged the terrorists in a fierce fire-fight that compelled them to succumb and abandon their firearms. The troops captured one  PKM Machine Gun, 402 rounds of 7.62 mm x 54 NATO ammunition and 110 rounds of 7.62 mm NATO. In a separate but related operation, troops responding to actionable intelligence intercepted 3 persons suspected of gun running in the Sukuk Community, located in the Madagali Local Government Area of the state. ARREST OF SYNDICATE INVOLVED IN A CASE OF ARMED ROBBERY, ABDUCTION AND RAPE TODAY IN OZUBULU ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

    ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND DIARY:
On the 20/11/2019 at about 03:30am, Police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti robbery Squad (SARS) in conjunction with the recently launched operations Kpochakpu by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano arrested at Ozubulu the following syndicate,
(i) Collins Okpala 'm' aged 25 years.
(ii) Nwachukwu Chimanya 'm' aged 20years,
(iii) Kenechukwu Anyasi 'm' aged 23 years and,
(iv) Pascal Ogbuagu 'm' aged 22 years.
2. Suspects had on the 14/2/2019 abducted a girl of about 21years old (Name withheld) robbed her of her belongings and equally gang raped her severally.
3. Furthermore, the suspects made a pornographic video clip of the rape incident and used the video to blackmail the victim to the tune of one million naira.(#1,000,000)
4. Consequently, suspects have confessed to the crime while the said video clip was also recovered from their phones and registered as exhibit.They will soon be charged to court for prosecution as soon as investigation is concluded.
5. It is partinent to reiterate that the Command under the watch of CP John B.Abang,fdc will continue to provide safe and secure environment for all the citizenry before during and after the Christmas and new year celebrations.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
