  A 23-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Osarugbe, has died in Libya. African beauty products   She passed away at about 11:33am on Friday, April 4, 2025 after battling illness.    Anti-human trafficking advocate, Yakubu Oyiza and her team had been raising money to bring her back to Nigeria for better medical treatment as hospitals in Libya rejected her.    According to Oyiza, documents for burial, autopsy, and land to bury her in Libya have been arranged, all costing approximately 350,000.   She alleged that the family abandoned her since she fell sick and had earlier refused to go to Kano and pick her up the day she was supposed to be brought back to Nigeria.    In a Facebook post on Saturday, April 5, Oyiza revealed that some family members of the deceased called them asking for Osasā€™ properties. CAS VISITS INDIA, SEEKS PARTNERSHIP IN TRAINING, R&D.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, has led a delegation of senior Nigerian Air Force (NAF) officers on a visit to India to seek for avenues to strengthen strategic partnerships for capacity building and Research and Development (R&D) with a view to further boosting the NAFā€™s operational effectiveness in the fight against insurgency and other forms of criminality in the country. The visit, which is holding from 11 - 14 November 2019, is at the instance of the Indian Government through an invitation extended by the CAS of the Indian Air Force (IAF), Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Singh Bhadauria. While in India, Air Marshal Abubakar, who has already paid formal courtesy calls on the IAF CAS and the Deputy Chief of the Indian Army, will hold several other high level meetings as well as visit some IAF Bases and facilities in the Country.
The CAS was received on arrival in Delhi, the Indian capital, by a delegation from IAF and the Defence Adviser (DA) at Nigeriaā€™s High Commission, Navy Commodore Olusegun Fereira, as well as the DAs of Senegal, Niger Republic, Ghana and Egypt. Those accompanying the CAS on the visit include the Chief of Training and Operations Headquarters (HQ) NAF, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Oladayo Amao, and the Chief of Logistics HQ NAF, AVM Mohammed Yakubu, among others.
