Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.      The EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, has commenced investigation into the allegations of over N150, 000, 000 (One Hundred and Fifty Million Naira) fraud involving Stephen Oshinowo, a former Executive Secretary, Lagos State Scholarship Board; Shobaloju Akinwunmi, Director, Accounts and one Kasali Kamoru Amoo. The suspects are being investigated for alleged stealing, money laundering and abuse of office to the tune of over N150, 000, 000.
Investigations revealed that the suspects fraudulently converted the money to their personal use through two companies: Julikam International Limited and Orsimolu Trading Solutions, while also using some pseudo names that benefited from the scheme.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
