 Sudan urges displaced citizens abroad to return home Sudan has called on all displaced citizens living abroad to return home, as the government steps up efforts to facilitate voluntary repatriation and remove barriers facing returnees. Prime Minister Kamil Idris said his office is committed to easing the return process and ensuring citizens can actively contribute to rebuilding the country, state media SUNA reports. Speaking during a visit to the Ashkeit border crossing in Wadi Halfa, Idris said authorities have taken steps to eliminate illegal levies and ensure that returning citizens are not subjected to additional fees, compulsory charges or arbitrary customs duties. He noted that such practices had previously placed an unnecessary burden on citizens without benefiting the state.       This should pass as one of the most realistic sculptures ever made around these parts. From the accurate proportion &scaling of the mould, the painting, proper shading of the highlights & mid tones, the detailing, etc.
Up until recently I still had my doubts that it’s was an actual statue, was thinking it could be a pun.
This statue was made by a corp member Arigbede Ojo Olaropo, a Batch C, Stream 2 Corps member with state code ED/18C/3549, that just completed his service year at Benin City, Edo State.
He is an art instructor, he is into Figure Modelling, Paper Modelling, Metal Art, Junks art, Water Fountain, Building of Tree House and lots more.More photos below.

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
