 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room. LAGOS PRINTING CORPORATION GETS NEW GENERAL MANAGER.#PRESS RELEASE.

     Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Mr. Kolawole Peregrino as the new General Manager, Lagos State Printing Corporation, replacing Mr. Sakirudeen Odusanya who was appointed in 2015.
A letter signed by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola stated that the appointment, which has a four-year tenure, took effect from 28th October 2019.
Muri-Okunola noted that the appointment took cognisance of the appointee's track record and expressed confidence that his experience stands him in good stead to expand the frontiers of the Corporation.
Born on the 16th of January, 1961, Mr. Peregrino was until his present appointment the Director of XLS Concept, a training consultancy outfit.
He holds a Higher National Diploma in Insurance and hails from the Lafiaji Community, Brazilian Quarters on Lagos Island.
Peregrino worked as a Civil Servant at the Supreme Court of Nigeria and also served at the American International Insurance Company (AIICO) in Lagos.
