 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. LAGOS PRINTING CORPORATION GETS NEW GENERAL MANAGER.#PRESS RELEASE.

     Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Mr. Kolawole Peregrino as the new General Manager, Lagos State Printing Corporation, replacing Mr. Sakirudeen Odusanya who was appointed in 2015.
A letter signed by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola stated that the appointment, which has a four-year tenure, took effect from 28th October 2019.
Muri-Okunola noted that the appointment took cognisance of the appointee's track record and expressed confidence that his experience stands him in good stead to expand the frontiers of the Corporation.
Born on the 16th of January, 1961, Mr. Peregrino was until his present appointment the Director of XLS Concept, a training consultancy outfit.
He holds a Higher National Diploma in Insurance and hails from the Lafiaji Community, Brazilian Quarters on Lagos Island.
Peregrino worked as a Civil Servant at the Supreme Court of Nigeria and also served at the American International Insurance Company (AIICO) in Lagos.
