 The Lagos State Wastewater Management Office (LSWMO), yesterday, sealed off some buildings/properties across the state over different environmental infractions. They are; * A property on 34, Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island for deliberate discharge of raw sewage into the public drain causing offensive odour and sewage flowing in the community, constituting public nuisance, environmental pollution and endangering human life. * A block of Shops along Powerline Road, Meiran, Alimosho, for the illegal construction and operation of unsanitary toilet facility on a road setback without a permit, constituting public nuisance, environmental pollution and endangering human life. * A three-storey building at 38, Adeniji Adele Street, Lagos Island for deliberate discharge of raw sewage into the public drain. * A building at H29, House of Jesus Street, Langbasa, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, for the deliberate discharge of raw sewage into the public drains. LAGOS PRINTING CORPORATION GETS NEW GENERAL MANAGER.#PRESS RELEASE.

     Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Mr. Kolawole Peregrino as the new General Manager, Lagos State Printing Corporation, replacing Mr. Sakirudeen Odusanya who was appointed in 2015.
A letter signed by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola stated that the appointment, which has a four-year tenure, took effect from 28th October 2019.
Muri-Okunola noted that the appointment took cognisance of the appointee's track record and expressed confidence that his experience stands him in good stead to expand the frontiers of the Corporation.
Born on the 16th of January, 1961, Mr. Peregrino was until his present appointment the Director of XLS Concept, a training consultancy outfit.
He holds a Higher National Diploma in Insurance and hails from the Lafiaji Community, Brazilian Quarters on Lagos Island.
Peregrino worked as a Civil Servant at the Supreme Court of Nigeria and also served at the American International Insurance Company (AIICO) in Lagos.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
