 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System.       Five months after the arraignment of a self acclaimed herbalist, Jamiu Isiaka who allegedly defrauded Korean National, Keun Sig Kim, the Commission has finally closed its case against the defendant. The Ilorin Zonal Office of the EFCC had on June 11, 2019 arraigned Isiaka before Justice Mahmood Abdulgafar of a Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin on a six count charge bordering on Fraud and Obtaining Money under False Pretence. .

The self acclaimed herbalist was accused of obtaining the sum of Thirty Million Naira from his victim under the pretence of helping him to secure a licence from the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Office of the Group General Manager of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
