  NBC bans Eedris Abdulkareem’s protest song ‘Tell Your Papa’ from radio, TV The National Broadcasting Commission has barred Nigerian radio and television stations from airing the trending song “Tell Your Papa” by veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, citing its “objectionable nature.” In a memo dated April 9, 2025 and issued by the Coordinating Director of Broadcast Monitoring, Susan Obi, the commission declared the track Not To Be Broadcast (NTBB) under Section 3.1.8 of the Nigeria Broadcasting Code. This section prohibits content deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in breach of public decency from being aired on Nigerian broadcast platforms. According to the NBC, while the song has gained momentum across social media platforms, its lyrical content fails to meet the standards of responsible broadcasting. A WOMAN LIFTS HER MAID UP AND SLAMS HER TO THE GROUND BECAUSE OF ATM CARD.{PHOTOS}.

       Nigerians have expressed outrage after a video of a woman lifting her maid up and throwing her to the ground was shared online.
In the heartbreaking video, the woman is seen reaching into the car to drag out a child believed to be her maid. She then lifts her into the air and slams her to the ground.
The girl stood immediately and ran off, afraid of what her madam could do next and the woman ran after her.
It is not clear what led to the woman's outrage but she is heard in the video ranting about "ATM". It is suspected the maid might have misplaced her ATM card.
Nigerians who watched the video are shocked by it and are asking for the abusive woman to be found and prosecuted.
A Facebook user claims the woman lives in Enugu and they supplied an address which they alleged is hers.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
