 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly.      The Acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu has charged staff of the Commission not to rest on their laurels in the fight against economic and financial crimes in the country.
Magu stated this during the end of the year Staff Party of the Benin Zonal Office. Magu who was represented by the Zonal Head, Muhtar Bello commended officers of the Zone for their achievements during the year. According to him, the zone secured 95 convictions and recovered N243 million during the year, an improvement on the previous year.
The Acting Chairman said in 2020, staff must work harder to achieve better result through total dedication and commitment to duty. "In 2020 God willling, it is our desire to do better than we have done this year. We must work together as a team for better result because as it is often said if you want to go fast, you go alone but if want to go far, you go as a team."
