 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. FREE TRANSPORT FOR COMMUTERS WITHIN ANAMBRA FROM DEC. 1ST TO JANUARY 5,2020.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     Government of Anambra State has declared free transportation for commuters within the State starting from December 1, 2019 to January 5, 2020.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Transport Company Of Anambra State, TRACAS, Dr Ifeoma Madukasi stated this while addressing the Press at the Company's Head Office in Awka.
The designated routes include Awka to Onitsha by Old Road, Eke Awka to Head bridge, Awka to Onitsha by Express to Upper Iweka, Awka to Otuocha by Aguleri Junction.
Others are Onitsha to Ogbaru by LGA Headquarters, Awka to Nnewi by Nkwo Nnewi Triangle and Awka to Oko, Ekwulobia to Onitsha.
Dr Madukasi revealed that the gesture is part of Governor Willie Obiano's administration's efforts to cushion the effects of high cost of transportation usually associated with the yuletide season.More photos below.
