 Kaduna Court Jails Fake Australian for Fraud  Justice Jaafaru Zubairu of the Kaduna State High Court has convicted and sentenced one Faruk Suleiman Ololade (a.k.a Caesar Smith) to three years imprisonment  for fraud.  He was prosecuted by the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on a one-count charge bordering on impersonation.   The charge reads: “That you, Faruk Suleiman Ololade (a.k.a Mr Caesar Smith) on or about the 12th of February, 2026 in Kaduna within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, impersonated one Mr Caesar Smith (an Australian) via Facebook platform and in such assumed character, attempted to defraud members of the public and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 142 (1) of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law, 2017 and punishable under the same law.”  He pleaded guilty to the charge, upon which the prosecution counsel, Moses Arumemi prayed the court to convict and sentence him ...

POLICE OPERATIVES ARRESTED NINE ROBBERY SUSPECTS WHO SPECIALISES IN ONE CHANCE ROBBERY AND HANDBAG SNATCHING.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     On the 15/12/2019 following credible intelligence report,operatives attached to the Command Special Anti cult unit(SPACS) in conjunction with operation Kpochakpu II arrested the following suspects inside the forest at Nkwelle Ezunanka in Oyi LGA of Anambra State.
(1). Ikechukwu Ezeh aka Mopol 'm' aged 34yrs from Okija in Ihiala LGA,
(2). Jude Nwachukwu 'm' aged 24yrs from Ebonyi,
(3). Samuel Egbe 'm' aged 25yrs from Ebonyi,
(4). Chukwudi Augustine 'm' aged 24 yrs from Ebonyi,
(5).Jacob Godwin 'm' aged 22 yrs from Ebonyi,
(6). Paul Linus 'm' aged 26yrs from Ebonyi,
(7). Uche Okoye 'm' aged 27yrs from Anambra and,
(8) one Augustine Uzokwa 'm' aged 26yrs from Anambra State respectively.
Suspects were part of the gang allegedly involved in series of armed robbery/phones and handbags snatching within Onitsha and environs
Exhibits recovered from them includes one double barrel gun,one single barrel gun, two (2) big bags containing weeds suspected to be canabis sativa(indian hemp) 2 computer laptops,19 pieces of cell phones, locally made bunkers for inhaling hard drugs, charms of different categories, packets of Roller use to wrap hard drugs , 44 lighters , 3 packs of cotton bud , 2 bottles of perfumes, cash sum of #42,500 Naira and other incriminating items.
In a related development, at about 1:20pm of today 15/12/2019,Police patrol team attached to Awada Division responded to a distress call at Upper Iweka area of Onitsha and arrested one Arinze Ozemenam aka Arewa,(a notorious robbery suspect terrorizing Upper Iweka axis) aged 22yrs of Army Barracks, Onitsha.
Suspect allegedly wayled one Emeka Nweke 'm' of Nkpor and robbed him of physical cash and other belongings while returning from the Church Service at Goodness and Mercy Park.
All cases are under investigation after which suspects would be charged to court for prosecution.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police CP John B.Abang,fdc enjoins the Public whose handsets/laptops were either snatched or stolen through similar modus to report at the Special Anti cult unit Enugwu-ukwu with proof of ownership in order to claim their properties and also give further evidence to aid Police investigation.
Finally, The Command assures the Public that it will continue to deny the criminals the opportunity to operate through intensive patrols,continuous raids on blackspots and criminal hideouts,and intelligence gathering in order to enable Ndi Anambra and residents alike enjoy the Yuletide peacefully.
