, The Prince of Wales presented honours to remarkable people from across the UK during an Investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

Major Nicola Wetherill was awarded an MBE after she made history by planning and leading the first all-female team across the Antarctic unassisted.
Corporal Netra Rana was seriously injured when his vehicle hit an IED south of Kandahar in January 2008. Since recovering from his injuries, Corporal Netra Rana has competed in sitting volleyball competitions and is a GB Paralympian and Invictus Games medal winner. He was awarded an MBE during today’s Investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
