 Lagos Pensioners Give Sanwo-Olu 14-Day Ultimatum Over Unpaid Entitlements The Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), Lagos State chapter, has issued a 14-day ultimatum to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to address their grievances, including the non-implementation of the N32,000 pension increase and 57 monthsā€™ unpaid arrears from the 2019 Consequential Adjustment. During a press conference on Wednesday, NUP Chairman Rev. Oluremi Johnson lamented failed attempts to engage state officials, stating: ā€œWeā€™ve called, written letters, but they keep avoiding us.ā€ Vice Chairman Rev. Dr. Titus Gregory Aderemi decried the poor welfare of retirees, many of whom survive on as little as N5,000 monthly, despite years of service. The union has threatened further action if their demands are not met, urging the government to respect its senior citizens.

TWO INTERNET FRAUDSTERS JAILED IN ILORIN.{PHOTOS}.

       The EFCC, Ilorin Zonal Office on Tuesday 17th of December 2019 secured the convictions of two persons charged before a Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin on Offences bordering on internet fraud and other fraud related Offences. The convicts are: Chibueze Meshak and Babatunde Muhammed Bashir. They were convicted and sentenced to six months imprisonment by the Court Presided over by Justice Sikiru Oyinloye on their separate charges.One more photo below.
