 Otti Slams Julius Abure Over Continued Sale of Labour Party Nomination Forms Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has strongly criticised the former National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, for proceeding with the sale of governorship nomination forms despite opposition from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and subsisting court rulings. The criticism follows a viral photograph showing Abure presenting a Labour Party nomination form to a former National Vice Chairman of the party, Ceekay Igara, in the company of other party members. Be informed that today 28/1/2020 at about 2:30pm,a Mack Tanker with Reg No JJJ 106 XU fully loaded with cooking gas lost control and crashed into the pavement of Onitsha/Awka Express way, about 150m away from the Pedestrian Bridge, MCC, Onitsha.
The police and other emergency responders are on ground. Traffic has been diverted to a safer lane/route.
Members of the public are kindly advised to keep off the area in view of the combustible nature of the product that the truck involved in the accident is carrying until the situation is brought under control and obstruction cleared please.
