 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. One of the four kidnapped Students of Good Shepherd Major Seminary, Kaduna has been released by the Kidnappers.
He was said to have been released and dumped along Kaduna-Abuja highways Saturday night where he was said to have been given helping hands by Good Samaritans and taken to the school authority.
One of the catholic priests in Kaduna city while telling the congregation after the homily on Sunday to pray for the safety and freedom of the embattled students, announced that, “We are happy to hear that one of the Seminarians has been released. He was dumped along Kaduna-Abuja highways, and occasionally, he was falling into coma. We pray that God will touch the hearts of the Kidnappers and release the remaining three. Keep on praying the Rosary for them”.It would be recalled that the four Seminarians were abducted from their hostel in the Seminary on January 8 at about 10:30pm when the Kidnappers were said to have forced their way into the Seminary after shooting and damaging of doors and keys to gain entrance into the hostels.
The Archbishop of Kaduna Catholic Archdiocese, Bishop Matthew Man’oso Ndagoso had earlier on Friday said that in order not to jeopardise the lives of the kidnapped students, embargo has been placed not to disclose whatever amount the Kidnappers were demanding as ransom.
“We have streamlined discussion with the Kidnappers, it is only one person that is communicating with them, we can’t disclose any discussion with them”. He said.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
