 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. FIRE OUTBREAK AT DAVID MARK'S HOUSE YESTERDAY IN BENUE STATE.

     The residence of a former Senate President, David Mark, in Otukpo town, Benue State, was gutted by fire, on Thursday.
Witnesses said that the fire spread from a nearby bush bordering the fence of the ex-Senate President’s residence, and bunt down two ambulance vehicles, as well as over 15 motor cycles parked in the premises.
It was gathered that the domestic workers at the residence made frantic efforts to put out the fire without much success, before the arrival of the State Fire Service, in Otukpo.
One of the domestic workers who preferred anonymity, said: “We made every effort to quench the fire, but the more we tried, the more it continued to spread.
“It was when we noticed that we could not stop it from engulfing the Guest House, that we called in the Fire Service.”
At the time of this report, however, none of the family members had yet commented on the matter, even as it was learnt that Mark himself was away from the home.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
