 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. POLICE HOSPITAL AWKA NOW A REFERENCE CENTRE FOR VICTIMS OF ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCIES.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Recall that few months ago,following it's upgrade, the Nigeria Police Medical Facilities in Anambra, Police Hospital Awka in particular successfully performed it's first major surgical operations where it extracted 26 fibroids from a female patient. Since then the hospital continue to expand its horizons by unveiling Eye clinic and Dental department which provides twenty four hours services for both in and out patients.
Consequently, the hospital has now become a reference centre for victims of accident and Emergencies as well as hospital of choice for other Sister agencies in the State.
This was disclosed by the Command medical officer CSP Dr Emelike Chinenyenwa MBBS , Community health Physician and forensic expert Nigeria Police during a maiden meeting of law Enforcement Medical officials in Anambra State in order to foster cooperation, synergy and enhance level of preparedness for Emergency situations and disaster management such as fire outbreaks and epidemics.
Participants at the meeting includes medical officials of the Nigeria Correctional Services,Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NDLEA,
Fire Services,DSS,Anambra Vigilante Service and State Emergency management Agency (SEMA) Anambra State.
The forum was initiated and hosted by the Anambra State Police Command under the watch of the Commissioner of Police CP John B.Abang,fdc.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
