 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.        President Muhammadu Buhari felicitates with Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, SAN, on his 50th birthday, congratulating him on his many years of contribution to the nation as a lawyer and human rights activist.
President Buhari joins All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwarts, family members, friends and professional colleagues of the erudite lawyer in celebrating the landmark age, and the wisdom of making sacrificial choices that have brought recognitions, awards, and most recently a ministerial position.
“Our faith in the younger generation is renewed seeing the way you have conducted yourself; making sacrifices for the greater good of the country, and humanity,’’ the President said.
President Buhari urges Keyamo to remain focused on the broader picture of selfless service to the nation, and to keep inspiring the younger generation to follow the same path of honour.
The President prays that the almighty God will grant the minister longer life, good health and strength.
