 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.       The Anambra State Police Command wishes to inform the general Public that Following directives by the Inspector-general of Police IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu NPM, mni,the Command will henceforth impound all vehicles illegally using Spy number plates,sirens, revolving lights or covered number plates.This is because, such acts if
left unchecked could worsen the security situation in the State.
Inview of the foregoing, the Commissioner of Police *CP John B.Abang,fdc* has ordered with immediate effect to impound all vehicles illegally using SPY or covered number plates and revolving lights in the State.Anyone found violating such order would also be arrested and prosecuted.A task force has been put in place by the Command to enforce the directive of the IGP.
Consequently, the CP also warns that any Security personnel found escorting their principal with an unmarked vehicle or those with covered vehicle number plates will be arrested and dealt with accordingly.You are kindly requested to give this massage wide publicity in both print,social and electronic media, please.
